Fig Perserves

Doesn't that look good? Homemade biscuits and homemade fig perserves. This is the most figs I have ever gotten. It all cooked down to this one pint plus about a third of another jar. I am going to try and keep this one until winter so it can be a treat for us. We'll see how that goes.

  2. David, I want to thank you for stopping by my blog yesterday. We are in Hodges, on the Lake, very close to you. Nice to find another garden blogger here in SC. I enjoyed scrolling through and reading your posts of this summer. Have you taken the Master Gardener class? Or talked with the extension office in your working with propagation? I am in the Lakelands MGs. Have a couple friends over in Abbeville, bet you know them.
